Cynthia’s Guilty Pleasure

“When I first came to this country, I worked at a pizzeria. Every morning at 10 a.m., right when we opened, the same customer would come in and order a chicken parm sandwich. At the time, it wasn’t something I was familiar with, but after seeing it day after day, I finally decided to make one for myself.

It didn’t take long for it to become my favorite. Over the years, I tried different versions and little upgrades, always looking for the perfect combination. Eventually, I landed on what I still order today: crispy chicken cutlets, burrata, rich vodka sauce, and a touch of pesto to bring it all together.

It’s comforting, indulgent, and definitely my guilty pleasure.”
